The third day of the Future Star Under-15 Championship at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Ghaziabad delivered exciting cricket, thrilling finishes, and some standout individual performances.

Young stars continued to impress as Flying Fire Delhi Chargers and Noida Blaze secured convincing victories in their respective matches.

While Uttkarsh starred with both bat and ball to guide Flying Fire Delhi Chargers to a five-wicket win, Ekam Deep’s brilliant half-century helped Noida Blaze post a challenging total before sealing a comfortable victory.

Despite ending on the losing side, Chirag Luhach grabbed the spotlight with an outstanding hat-trick for Gurugram Vipers.

Bhuvnesh Kumar’s Calm Finish Helps Flying Fire Delhi Chargers Chase Down Target

Sonipat Kings won the toss and chose to bat first, putting up a competitive total of 151 for 8 in their allotted 20 overs. Naitik Yadav played a responsible knock of 43 runs, while Tanishq Kumar added a useful 29 to keep the scoreboard moving.

For the Delhi Chargers, Uttkarsh was the standout performer with the ball. He picked up three important wickets while conceding just 27 runs, helping his team restrict Sonipat Kings from reaching a bigger score. Raunak Bhatia also chipped in with two wickets.

In reply, Flying Fire Delhi Chargers approached the chase confidently. Uttkarsh once again made his presence felt by scoring an important 45 runs at the top of the order.

However, it was Bhuvnesh Kumar who held his nerve in the closing stages. Playing a mature unbeaten innings of 55 from just 38 balls, he guided his side across the finish line with five balls remaining to complete a well-deserved five-wicket victory.

Ekam Deep Powers Noida Blaze to Big Win Despite Chirag Luhach’s Hat-Trick

The second match of the day witnessed plenty of action as Noida Blaze produced a commanding batting display after being asked to bat first.

Leading the charge was Ekam Deep, who played a superb innings of 71 runs from only 42 deliveries. His attacking strokeplay laid the foundation for a strong total.

He received excellent support from Naitik Bhati, who smashed 45 runs, while Saksham Aswal contributed a quick 30 to push the total to an imposing 195 for 9.

Gurugram Vipers found a moment of magic during the innings when Chirag Luhach claimed a memorable hat-trick.

He dismissed Dev Nagar, Ayush Maurya, and Archit in three consecutive deliveries to finish with impressive figures of 3 for 23. Although his brilliant spell slowed Noida Blaze in the final overs, the target remained a difficult one.

Chasing 196, Gurugram Vipers struggled to build lasting partnerships. Amogh Sirohi fought hard with 38 runs, while Ayan Ali added 31, but regular wickets kept hurting the chase.

Dev Nagar produced an excellent bowling spell, taking three wickets for just 17 runs, while Sufiyan supported him with two wickets.

Eventually, Gurugram Vipers were bowled out for 153 in 19.3 overs, handing Noida Blaze a convincing 42-run victory.
