Haryaksh Hits 142 Off 49 as Meerut Spartans Crush Gurugram Vipers on Day 6

Big-Hitting Takes Center Stage on Day 6

Day 6 of the Future Star Under-15 Championship at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Ghaziabad turned into a run-fest, with young batters putting on an incredible display. Fans witnessed massive sixes, quick scoring, and two exciting matches that kept everyone entertained.

The biggest talking point of the day was Haryaksh’s unbelievable unbeaten knock of 142 runs from just 49 balls, which helped Meerut Spartans chase down a huge target with ease. In the other match, Jayqoo Panthers Faridabad held their nerves to register a close eight-run victory over Flying Fire Delhi Chargers.

Haryaksh Smashes 142 as Meerut Spartans Chase 198 with Ease

The first match saw Gurugram Vipers put up a challenging total of 197/8 in their 20 overs. The innings was powered by Yuvraj, who played a sensational knock of 101 runs off just 42 balls. He attacked the bowlers from the beginning and gave his team a strong chance of winning.

For Meerut Spartans, Aayan Siddiqui was the standout bowler, picking up three wickets, while Prakhar Vishnoi chipped in with two important dismissals.

However, once the chase began, it was completely dominated by one player—Haryaksh.

The young batter came out with fearless intent and never allowed the bowlers to settle. He smashed boundaries all around the ground and cleared the ropes an incredible 15 times. His unbeaten 142 off just 49 balls turned what looked like a difficult chase into a one-sided contest.

Meerut Spartans reached 198/2 in only 13.3 overs, winning the match by eight wickets and booking their place in style.

Yuvraj’s Brilliant Century Ends in a Losing Cause

Although Gurugram Vipers lost the match, Yuvraj produced one of the finest innings of the tournament. His explosive century helped his team post a massive score, but the bowlers simply had no answer to Haryaksh’s extraordinary batting.

Despite his efforts, Gurugram Vipers were unable to defend 197 as Meerut Spartans chased the target comfortably.

Jayqoo Panthers Hold Their Nerve in Close Contest

The second match of the day was much tighter as Jayqoo Panthers Faridabad defeated Flying Fire Delhi Chargers by just eight runs.

Batting first, Jayqoo Panthers scored 151/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Kartik Kaushik led from the front with a valuable 45-run innings, while Laksh Solanki added 33 important runs. Tarak Mishra impressed with the ball for Flying Fire, taking two wickets.

Avi Shukla Fights Till the End

Chasing 152, Flying Fire Delhi Chargers depended heavily on Avi Shukla, who played a determined innings of 82 runs from 63 balls.

He kept his team in the contest for most of the chase, but wickets kept falling at the other end. Without enough support from the remaining batters, Flying Fire finished on 143/6, falling just eight runs short of the target.

Jayqoo Panthers’ bowlers stayed calm in the final overs, with Omesh Yadav picking up two wickets. Kartik Kaushik also contributed with the ball, making it an impressive all-round performance.
